Betty L. Sawyer, 83, of Colby Court in Bedford, NH died on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Bedford Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center following a period of failing health. She was born in Newport, NH on June 8, 1937, the daughter of Francis J, Sr. and Grace Maude (Hurd) Miller.
She is survived by her three stepdaughters and their spouses, Robert and Ruth (Lumb) Nantell, Ann (Lumb) Lavoie, Forrest and Joyce (Lumb) Carter, and her six children and their spouses, Walter Lumb, Brian and Jessica Lumb, Brenda Lumb, Louie and Lourie (Lumb) Estevez, Scott Lumb, Lenny and Tina (Lumb) Snow, Twenty-Eight Grandchildren and Twenty-Nine Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sawyer (2020), and her previous husband, Walter E. Lumb (1997).
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
