Beverly Ann (Boucher) Murphy

Beverly Ann (Boucher) Murphy, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 after a harrowing battle with Covid-19. She is survived by her loving husband, James T. Murphy with whom she shared forty-two years of marriage. James and Beverly throughout their marriage were known to live by the following, "Forever, for always, no matter what," a testament they held onto until the end.

Beverly worked as a Paraprofessional for the Manchester School District for twenty years until her retirement in 2016. She cherished her job and found it to be deeply rewarding due to the connections she was able to forge with her students. In her spare time, before the progression of Alzheimer's she could be found tending to her beautiful flower gardens in the spring and summer months. Her many family and friends would all agree that she will be most remembered for her vibrant and infectious laugh, her caring nature and lovely flower gardens. The staff and residents at Hillsborough County Nursing Home where Beverly resided for the final months of her life, were enamored with her bubbly personality and her good nature.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two devoted children, Dr. Kate Murphy and Matthew Murphy both of Weare; one sister, Janice (Boucher) Cosgrove and her husband, Jack of Wolcott, CT. She also leaves a large extended family in the Waterbury area as well as a large circle of good friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of her life will be held later.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Beverly's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 166 S. River Road, #210, Bedford, NH 03110.
