Beverly Ann Ford, of Concord, NH, passed away peacefully at home on February 16, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born on November 6, 1930, in Burlington, VT, to the late Julia and Bertrand Dastin.
Beverly was a devoted and loving mother who cherished her children and grandchildren deeply. She was a wonderful cook and taught her children everything she knew that was passed down through generations. Even as her children grew older, and slowly moved out on their own, she had a hard time cooking a meal that wouldn't feed an army. Her family was her pride and joy, and she was the heart of many gatherings, always radiating warmth and love.
Beverly leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family, as well as her remarkable musical contributions. A woman of many talents, Beverly was an accomplished violinist. She was a charter member with the New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra. She was engaged in numerous other distinguished organizations, including the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra in New Hampshire and the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra in Florida, where her musical talents were highly regarded. Over the years, she engaged in countless performances, in both solo and ensemble groups that had an immeasurable impact on so many people.
Beverly is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Ford. Children; Dorothy Mitchell (David), Thomas Cooley, Cheryl Ryan (Thomas), Carrie Rodd, Kevin Cooley (Karen), and Gregory Loomis (Maricel), Kathryn Ford (Robert), Karen Cooley (Kevin), and Kenneth Loomis (Robin). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all her family.
She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Shortt of North Ft. Myers, FL, and brother, Robert Dastin, of Manchester, NH.
Beverly was predeceased by her former husbands, Thomas Cooley and Sumner Loomis, as well as her daughter, Nancy Poulios (Peter), and her sister, Virginia Thommas.
A gathering will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 2–4 PM at the Cremation Society of NH, 172 King St., Boscawen, NH.
