With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Beverly Ann McQuade Bailey, on Saturday November 2nd 2019. Beverly passed peacefully at age 85 at Colonial Hill in Rochester, NH. Beverly was born June 16th in Manchester, NH to Patrick Aloysius McQuade and Anna Peterson McQuade.
Beverly grew up in Manchester, NH and attended Saint Joseph's Regional High School, where she walked with the graduating class of 1952. Following graduation, Beverly held several retail positions she enjoyed, but was most fond of her passionate and notable work with the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains.
Beverly was a lover of God and attended Manchester Christian Church as often as she could. It was there where she met many of her friends and found a loving community of like-minded people who continued to bring God's love to Beverly until the very end. Beverly enjoyed singing at church, as well as singing along to Celtic melodies while she gardened. Everyone who heard her was touched by her sweet voice.
As a true Irish woman, Beverly was always on the search for Irish artifacts that sang to her spirit and she was never seen without a touch of green somewhere on her, be it her nails or her carefully selected jewelry. Her Irish spirit ran deep and enjoyed an ice cold Long Island Iced Tea with a smile stretched from ear to ear. Accompanying her smile, one would always find Beverly with her hair done nicely, often topped with a sprinkle of sparkling glitter. Beverly was always ready for her own party, called life.
Beverly's light shone brightly on anyone she encountered and she bestowed an air of love and laughter to each person that knew her, even a passerby could feel her warmth. Beverly's joyous and lighthearted spirit continues to touch everyone blessed to know her, and while her earthly presence will be greatly missed, the love she created will live on forever.
Beverly will be joyfully greeted by her sisters Patricia McQuade, Gladys Indyk, and Ruthy Szumers, her brothers William McQuade, Jack McQuade, Tommy McQuade and Parker McQuade, as well as her children Danny Snee, Patrick Snee, Kerry Snee and Cindy Snee.
Beverly's spirit and her love will live on in her sisters Dotty Emery, and Sandy Bergeron, her sons Brian Snee, and David Snee as well as her daughter Debra Christ. She will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Brandon Snee, Jessica Snee, Ryan Snee, Shannon Snee, Matthew Snee, Morgan Snee, Ethan Snee, Jennifer Tarr, and Meagan Snee, as well as many great-grandchildren.
A life celebration in memory of Beverly will be held on Thursday, November 7th at 10:00 AM at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St. Manchester NH, with a service beginning at 11:00 AM.
