Beverly Lorraine Soucy

Mrs. Beverly Lorraine Soucy, 78, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at her home, after a brief illness, with her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert, and children by her side.

Beverly was a resident of Merrimack NH for 38 years. She took great pride in making her house a home. Family and friends were always welcomed for visits, barbeques and her annual Christmas Eve celebration. She was an active member at Our Lady of Mercy church in Merrimack. In her later years, she moved to Weare, NH to be near family.

Her family was of the utmost importance to Beverly, she truly enjoyed raising her children and taking care of her grandchildren in their younger years. She looked forward to her yearly beach vacation, a tradition that started with her children and continued through last year with her grandchildren. She was their biggest supporter, attending numerous dance recitals, basketball games and school functions. She looked at becoming a great-grandmother as a big accomplishment, she cherished the moments spent with each one.

Beverly enjoyed the ocean, antiquing, taking long rides and reading. Her greatest love was children, whether it was caring for foster children or providing daycare for other families, who affectionately referred to her as Auntie Bev or Meme. She took great pleasure that she was still involved in the lives with many of those children today.

She leaves behind sons Alan P. Soucy and wife Connie Camber-Soucy of Grantham, NH, Timothy M. Soucy and wife Michele Soucy of Wilton, NH, James R. Soucy and wife Karen Soucy of Merrimack, NH and a daughter Dawn Marie Dearborn and husband David Dearborn of Weare, NH. Her nine grandchildren, Sean, Rebecca, Jonathan, Alaina, Benjamin, Malynda, Gabrial, Jake and Catherine and three great grandchildren, Bentley, Kyla Jean and Thomas. Her four brothers, Benjamin, Richard, Donald, David, and countless nieces and nephews.
