Frank William (Bill) Horsley, passed peacefully, surrounded by his wife and daughters, on February 09, 2017 in Burlington, Massachusetts, at the age of 65.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Marie Horsley of 34 years, his eldest daughter Beth Horsley, middle daughter, Meghan Beaudoin and youngest daughter, Elle Leslie; along with his brothers, sisters, aunt, uncle, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank William Horsley, Sr. and his mother Jean Ann Horsley.
Bill was born on August 18, 1951 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1975 with a degree in Structural Engineering. He married Lynn, a labor and delivery nurse in 1983 in Newport, Rhode Island. After moving to New Hampshire, he began his business manufacturing Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete. As an expert in his field, he was able to share his knowledge with his colleagues internationally.
His family remembers him as a loving husband and father, always there to support and encourage his "girls" to follow their dreams. Bill loved having the opportunity to coach his daughters' sports teams, especially the year he coached all three on the same softball team and "survived". Bill enjoyed spending his summers on Cape Cod, where he was able to fulfill his passion for boating and spending quality time with his family. His girls have fond memories of waterskiing on Waquoit Bay, eating breakfast on Martha's Vineyard, and exploring Woods Hole, which showcases some of the great work he designed.
A private gathering has been planned for later this month. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, in Bills name.
