Bonnie Lou Pomasko

Bonnie Pomasko, 78, was born August 22,1946 in Ottomwa, Iowa to Carolyn and Leon Griswold. She graduated high school in 1964 and later joined the United States Air Force in 1968. She served until 1972 and shortly after she married Nik Pomasko. In 1976 they welcomed their only son Eric. They moved to New Hampshire in 1978 where she later started working for the United States Postal Service and would work there for 30 years until she retired. She enjoyed playing solitaire, watching soap operas and most of all watching New England sports teams, specifically the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. She was a breast cancer survivor. She also fought multiple sclerosis majority of her life.

She is preceded by both her parents, Carolyn and Leon and her sister Linda. She is survived by her son, Eric and his wife Karen; Two granddaughters Amber and Kate; her three sisters, Nancy, Susan and Sherry; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She will be buried in a family plot in Iowa with her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Monadnock Country Club in Peterborough, N.H., on July 20th at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the multiple sclerosis society or the breast cancer research foundation.
