Bonnielee Holmes (Merrill), 73, passed away February 14, 2017 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 8th, 1943 in Rochester, NH. She was the daughter of LeRoy and Lillian Merrill.
She grew up in Stratham and Exeter, and in later years resided in Sandown. She also spent quite a few years in Louisiana before returning to her roots in New Hampshire. She was a mother of five children and she helped raise many other children in her family. She loved to be a caregiver for all that needed her. She will forever be remembered as a unique woman, who had a love for all things that sparkled. Bonnie loved Elvis, she LOVED presents and she was like a little kid on Christmas morning whenever she would open gifts.
Bonnie will be remembered as a silly Grammy that was covered in spider tattoos, who made you giggle, and loved to joke with everyone. She was glamorous in her own way and loved jewelry and her favorite Dior Poison perfume. She loved her family unconditionally and loved her STUFF (She had a lot of stuff).
She loved her Big Macs, especially towards the end (don't forget the apple pie). She will be missed tremendously and there will be a very large void in our lives and hearts without her.
She was predeceased by her Sister Jaqueline Eastman.
She is survived by her children Brendalee Zapor, Terri Manuel, William Walsh, Jr., Robert Holmes, and Shawn Walsh; her Brother Daniel Knox; Sister Nancy Holmes; her 16 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren; and many Nieces and Nephews. Also her Fur Babies Lily and Buddy.
No formal services will be held at this time, but we will be celebrating her life on May 28th, 2017 Noon Time at: 35 Jean Drive, Seabrook, NH- Everyone is welcome!
