Brandon Lee Porter was born on July 9, 1991 at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. He died October 5, 2018 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, of a very brief, and unexpected illness.
Brandon is survived by his daughter Aubry Lee Porter; Father Jeffery Lee Porter and wife Josephine of Hinsdale, NH; Mother Rachael Lee Gauthier (Bostwick) and husband Bruce of Brattleboro, VT; Grandparents Raymond Porter of Brattleboro, VT; Judith Jacobson (Aldrich) of Winchester, NH; Steve A. Bostwick of Falmouth, MA; Donna Lee Carreiro (Bostwick, Bowlin) of Brattleboro, VT; Aunt Dawn D. Bostwick of Putney, VT; Uncle Steve W. Bostwick of Bellows Falls, VT.
He attended elementary - high school in Hinsdale NH, but graduated from Bellows Falls High School in 2010 in BF, VT. Brandon studied automotives and enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. However, his passion was dirt biking since he was four years old. He was an excellent and experienced rider. He loved his fast cars as well.
Brandon was caring, loving, full of life, active, determined, smart but stubborn young man, who loved his daughter, Aubry Lee, more than anyone. He loved and treasured family and friends very much. We have lost a remarkable young man who was loved and cherished by so many. Our family will never be the same without him, but he will be forever in our hearts and memories.
His Father and I lost our only child so young and full of promise. Our hearts are forever broken. The loss of our son Brandon has changed our lives forever. We are grateful and blessed for the 27 years we had with him and it is comforting to know that he lives on through our granddaughter, Aubry Lee.
A celebration of Brandon's life will be held on Friday, October 26th, 2018 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Ker-Phaneuf Funeral Home located at 57 High Street in Brattleboro. After will be a gathering at The Hinsdale Community Center.
