BRENDA D. SMITH Brenda D. (Severance ) Smith, 56, of Hudson passed away at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack after a brief illness. Ms. Smith was born in Bangor, Maine, on March 16, 1951, the daughter of the late William & Helen (Mushrow) Severance. In addition to her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her beloved son, Jason W. Smith. Brenda was a resident of Hudson most of her life. She attended Alvirne High School and proudly received her GED in 1998. Brenda was employed as a manager with Burger King Corporation. She enjoyed playing cards and scrapbooking. Family members include her ex-husband, James F. Smith of Pompano Beach, FL; grandson, Jonathan Smith of Sutton; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Russ & Carole Severance of Merrimack; Tim & Kris Severance of Hudson;; Todd & Katrina Severance of Maine; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl & Ernest Stone, of Rochester; Wendy & Paul Kelley of New Brunswick, Canada; Debbie & Billy Baker of Salem; Kim & Randy Roemer of Hudson, many nieces and nephews. A memorial reception will be Saturday, December 1, 2007, from 3:30 – 4:30 P.M. at the Cremation Society of NH Chapel, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 4:30 P.M. In addition to flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054, in memory of Brenda.
