Dr. Brian J. Arsenault, 73 of Sandown, NH passed away peacefully after a long battle with metastatic bone cancer at High Point Hospice House in Haverhill, MA on Saturday, April 3, 2021.
He was born in Methuen, MA on September 12, 1947 son of the late Dr. Joseph Arsenault and the late Ann (Forrest) Arsenault. He grew up in Dracut, MA, graduated from Dracut High School in 1965. He then followed in his father's footsteps and earned his doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College (Delta Sigma Chi fraternity) of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 1968.
Prior to his retirement in August of 2020, Brian was a Doctor of Chiropractic at Pelham Chiropractic Clinic in Pelham, NH where he cared deeply for his patients for over 52 years.
Among his many interests he enjoyed boating, tuna fishing, golf and spending time with his wife, dogs, family and friends. Brian along with his wife founded PRONE in 2012, a 501c3 small dog rescue. He enjoyed meeting and getting to know each of them and seeing them adopted into their forever homes.
Brian is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kelly (Reynolds) Arsenault and their dogs, a son Dr. Mark Arsenault and his wife Melissa, their 2 children Brynne and Chloe of Rye, NH; a daughter Dr. Melanie Arsenault-Burkhalter and her husband Dr. Ronald Burkhalter, their two children Austin and Mia of Baraboo, WI; a sister Susan Arsenault of Naples, FL; a sister in law, Patricia Arsenault of Westminster, MA; a niece Erin Gannon and her husband Richard Gannon III, and their three children Alyssa, Alivia and Richard IV.
Brian was preceded in death by his dear brother, Dr. Gregory Arsenault, his beloved labs: Coco, Ben and Lindsey and his favorite Papillon, Sterling.
Brian requested to be cremated. No service or funeral will take place at this time. Those wishing may make contributions in his memory to his Nonprofit PRONE – Papillon Rescue Of the North East, PO BOX 463, Sandown NH 03873.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family and friends.
