Brian Fredrick Bowen, 57, of Rochester, NH, passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2023.
He was born on August 31, 1966 in Macomb, Illinois. Brian spent his younger years in Illinois, eventually moving to Maine with his family where he graduated from Wells High School in 1984. Brian followed in his parents footsteps and spent the majority of his career in hospitality. He was known for his hard work and dependability. Brian was held in high regard by his former peers and in his many leadership roles. Brian was a kind, loving, and supportive individual. Family was very important to him. On weekends he could be found playing cards, enjoying a chili cook-off, or barbecuing at Fort Foster. He had a passion for fishing, watching football, driving, and woodworking. These hobbies brought him great joy throughout his life.
Brian will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his father Larry Bowen, his brother Alan Bowen, his sister Christine Mahler, the mother of their daughter Kelly Bowen, his daughter Alexandria Gallagher, his two grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Bowen.
