Brian S. Lehane, 63, passed away peacefully at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene on May 21, 2024, surrounded by the love and care of family and company after a time of failing health.
Brian lived a fast and joyful life after high school, including traveling and living in Santa Barbara, California for a short time but eventually returning back to “home” to settle down in New Hampshire where he had begun a long and successful career in the automotive business in car sales starting in 1986. From Ford to Keene Chrysler, to working a long 16 years at Honda of Keene, Brian was well-known and respected in the car business, loved by many and always known for his jolly laugh, and big smile.
When he wasn’t selling cars, he spent his time loving to cook, riding his motorcycle, shining up his 1970 Monte Carlo, watching the beloved Three Stooges marathon on Sunday mornings after maintaining his yard, and spending his time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Marilyn Lehane, his daughter Caitlin Brown, her husband Colm and their daughter Kingsley, his eldest brother, Kevin Lehane, his youngest brother, Michael Lehane, his two nephews Austin Lehane and Michael Lehane, and many loving cousins in Connecticut. He was predeceased by his father Edward Lehane.
At this time, no immediate services have been scheduled by the family, but a memorial service will be planned privately, within the family, and announced in the coming months.
We’d also like to send our thanks and gratitude to the team at Cheshire Medical ICU for giving Brian the most comfortable and greatest care during his stay, and really making us as his family feel great during this time as well.
