Brian E. Neary, 60, of Winchester died February 7, 2003 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Westmoreland following a lengthy illness. Brian was born on November 24, 1942 in Hartford, CT, the son of the late Edmund and Frances (Bossett) Neary. He graduated from Newtown High School in Newtown, CT in 1961. He then joined the military and served in the Air Force from 1962 until 1966. After being honorably discharged he began working at City Trust in Bridgeport, CT. He spent 25 years with City Trust until their closing and then began working for Laidlaw Transit in Brookfield, CT. He moved to New Hampshire in 1997 with his wife. Brian truly enjoyed animals which was evident by Brian and his wife rasing five puppies for the Guiding Eyes for the Blind. He also frequently visited the Monadnock Human Society. He was a supporter of CATS (Canine Agility Training Society) and always gave a helping hand at their local events. He was a very loving spouse and father and will be greatly missed. Family members include: his wife, Jacqueline Hoyt-Georgi of Winchester, NH; one son, Jeffrey Neary of Boston, MA; and his mother, Frances (Bossett) Neary of Stuart, FL. There will be no funeral or wake. A celebration of Brian's life will be held in the spring. Donations can be made donations in Brian's name to either Alzheimer's Research or the Monadnock Humane Society.
