Bruce A. Bairstow

Dr. Bruce A. Bairstow, 74, of 26 Franklin Street, Concord died on August 12, 2000 at Concord Hospital after a lengthy illness. Dr. Bairstow was born on July 6, 1926 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Jack and Leslie (Nolan) Bairstow. A beloved father and a truly respected old school dermatologist for more than thirty years in the Concord area. Deemed a physician at the age of 24 he served in both WWII and the Korean War in both the Navy and Army respectively. Family members include; one son, Bruce Bairstow of Manchester; two daughters, Mrs. Emelie Bairstow-Dyson of Pleasant Valley, NY and Mrs. Elizabeth Bairstow-Jestude of Manchester; four grandchildren, Christopher Dyson, Molly Dyson, Elyssa Bairstow and Emma Bairstow; two brothers, Donald Bairstow of Waukegan, IL and David Bairstow of Minnesota. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years in June of 2000, Claire (Wetzel) Bairstow and by one son, Chris Bairstow in 1980. Services will be held privately.
