Bruce B. Poore, age 79, of Madison, passed away peacefully at his home on February 19, 2021.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Jo-Anne (Harvey) Poore. Born in Portland, Maine on September 16, 1941, he was the son of late Ben Poore and Harriet (Adams) Poore. He was educated in Newburyport Ma. and was a graduate of Newburyport High School. He then entered the United States Navy where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam war era. Following his enlistment in the US Navy, Mr. Poore worked for NE Airlines and later Delta Airlines. Upon retirement from Delta Airlines, Mr. Poore worked with the Newbury, Ma. Police as Asst. Harbor Master. Bruce was known for his humor, great love for family and avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Poore leaves behind his Beloved Wife Jo-Anne of 34 years and children, Benjamin Poore and Partner, Maria of Merrimac, MA; Amy Power and Son-In Law, Aaron of Madison, NH. He was Grandfather to Sadie, Dani, Mason, Tiana and Kaylee.
Mr. Poore will be honored on the Veteran's Memorial Wall located in Madison, NH.
SERVICES -- A private memorial will take place at the Florida National Cemetery located in Sarasota, FL.
