Bryan David Marshall

Listen to Obituary

After three plus years of declining health due to a diagnosis of Systemic Scleroderma, on September 8, 2025, Bryan passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family members. He was born on February 17, 1967 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He is survived by: his Mother, Patricia M Cody (nee Hayes) of Hampton, NH; his Father, Ronald Marshall of Danville, NH; his four Sons, Corey Marshall of Chattanooga, TN, and Cody Marshall, Christopher Marshall, and Connor Marshall all of Chester, NH; his two Sisters, Deanna Marshall of Danville, NH, and Lauren Baker of Epping, NH.

Bryan was raised in, and attended schools in both Pelham and Salem, NH. In his youth, he was notably artistic and enjoyed drawing, along with building model cars, and many other creative things with the use of his hands. He was always a lover of music, and most who knew him well were aware of his unwavering admiration of the band RUSH, especially. Any mention of the deeply thoughtful lyrics and the abundantly talented musicians would often spark a topic of discussion, and reminiscence of years past. He was an avid reader from youth into adulthood, and was very drawn to Native American History and the culture as a whole. As a loving Father, Bryan shared his own love and passion for the great outdoors with his Sons (and also others), with many bonding excursions of hunting and fishing, which were often followed by many laughs by a fire. He and his boys also shared a love for Nascar racing, and spent countless hours watching and supporting their favorite drivers. Of course, all of our native New England professional sports teams had his heart as well.

Bryan spent the majority of his professional career as a very talented finish carpenter and shop manager, and also as a skilled builder/project manager. Immediately after High School he began perfecting his talents and craftsmanship while working for Lewis Builders in Atkinson, NH, which continued for over 25 years. He also worked at various other industry companies thereafter. He took great pride in his craftsmanship, creating anything from small gifts for loved ones, to large furniture pieces, and even a large addition to his own personal log home in Chester, NH.
