Bryant E.
Steele
Oct 4, 1960 — Jul 9, 2026
Bryant Edward Steele, 65, of Loudon, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
Born on October 4, 1960, in Groton, Massachusetts, Bryant was the eldest son of six children. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy before pursuing a career as a civil engineer.
Bryant found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, camping, gardening, watching anime, and following all sports, with soccer always holding a special place as his favorite. He was actively involved in his son's Boy Scout troop, where he enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors. He gave back to his community by coaching youth baseball and soccer and serving as a baseball umpire. No matter how long the workday had been, one of Bryant's greatest joys was coming home to spend time with his youngest daughter, Karen, putting together puzzles and sharing laughter. Above all else, Bryant cherished his family and the time they shared.
Bryant was a devoted husband, loving father, caring grandfather, cherished brother, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Deborah R. Steele; his eldest daughter, Julie (Steele) Perta of Wilkes-Barre PA, her husband Vincent, and their children; his son, Thomas Steele, his wife Jessica, and their children; and his youngest daughter, Karen Steele. He is also survived by his brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Bryant's kindness, quiet strength, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. Whether serving his country, mentoring young athletes, volunteering with the Boy Scouts, or simply spending time with the people he loved most, Bryant lived a life of service, compassion, and dedication. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and in the memories that his family and friends will forever hold close to their hearts. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 65 Wales Bridge Rd. Loudon, NH 03307 from 1:00 to 3:00pm on Sunday, August 9th 2026.
