C. David Platt, 76, of Antrim died peacefully December 15, 2003 at his home. Mr. Platt was born on October 27, 1927 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late Christopher W. And Mildred (Gode) Platt. He was a US Army veteran who served in Alaska in the military police. He moved to NH in 1960 and began his business of dairy farming along with his two sons. Together they ran Fox Run Farm in Antrim which is still in the family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and working in his fields. Family members include; his wife of 54 years, Doris (Schmidt) Platt; two sons, Christopher Platt, Jr. and Stephen Henry Platt both of Antrim; two daughters, Carrie Platt of Hancock and Sally Platt Markman of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren with another one expected in June; two sisters, Ramona Schmid of Piermont, NH and Miriam Benham of Cheshire, CT; many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 2:00 PM at the Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Antrim. Burial will be private.
