Carl A. DiRisio

Carl A. DiRisio passed away suddenly on July 25, 2019 surrounded by his family. Prior to moving to Manchester 16 years ago he resided in Alton, NH for over 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marie (Fernandi) DiRisio.

Carl was born in Paterson, NJ to Alphonso and Anna (Severini) DiRisio on September 9, 1930. He attended schools in Paterson, NJ and graduated from Rutgers University.

Prior to his retirement, he was the owner of Horne's Store in Alton, NH, and Cindy's Hallmark Card and Gift Center in Sanford, Me.
After his retirement, he and his wife loved to travel throughout the US, Canada, and Europe.

His greatest joy the last 11 years was spending time with his great grandchildren, Jaylin, Kaylee, Levi, Jaxon and his granddogs. He also enjoyed growing tomatoes on his deck.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Sean Galeaz.

His family includes his daughters, Carol Galeaz of Hooksett, and Cindy Crocker and her husband Jim of Laconia; his son, Carl DiRisio Jr. and his wife Joan of Davisville; 3 grandchildren, Kristi Rouleau, Carl Joseph DiRisio, Rosalie DiRisio; his brother Rod DiRisio and his wife Geri; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be held at a future date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord Merrimack County, the Manchester, NH Animal Shelter, or the American Cancer Society.
