Carl J. Lemieux, 78, of Salem, NH died January 10, 2003 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry following a lengthy illness. Mr. Lemieux was born on September 6, 1924 in Lawrence, MA son of the late Joseph and Albina (Sevingy) Lemieux. He was raised in Lawrence and moved to New Hampshire 18 years ago. He was a U S Navy Veteran who served during World War II. By trade he was a glazier and worked for Demers Plate Glass in Lawrence for 20 years. He was considered a "jack of all trades" and enjoyed helping others. Family members include; his wife of 58 years, Irene (Hamel) Lemieux; two sons, Carl W. Lemieux of Sedon, AZ and Jay D. Lemieux of Gilmanton, NH; two daughters Elaine Lemieux of Amherst, MA and Maureen Russo of Methuen, MA; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Maurice Lemieux of Sun City, Florida; four sisters, Rita Parent of Methuen, MA, Giselle Matheson of N. Andover, MA, Lorraine Koza of Salem, NH and Lucille Dolan of Bradford, MA; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will take place in the spring.
