Carol (Lehman) Finkel

It is with deep love and sorrow we announce the passing of Carol (Lehman) Finkel, on September 7, 2026, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Born on March 11, 1940 in Brooklyn NY, Carol lived a life filled with compassion and devotion to family and friends.

Carol was the cherished wife of the late Jerald Finkel, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Together, they raised their two daughters in Acton, MA, where they made their home for 27 years. Upon retirement, Carol and Jerry moved to Boynton Beach, FL, where they enjoyed 25 wonderful years together.

Carol loved playing cards, especially bridge with friends. She enjoyed bowling, tennis and shopping. Carol was passionate about knitting and made many sweaters, blankets, scarves and mittens. She enjoyed baking and entertaining and she shared laughter and love with family and friends.

Her family meant everything to her. She is survived by her daughters Debbi Leuteritz and her husband Chris, and Karen James and her husband Brian. Her five grandchildren, Alex James and his wife Rebecca, Glenn Leuteritz and his partner Amber, Robyn Leuteritz, Marissa James, and Ryan Leuteritz.

SERVICES: There will be a celebration of life on Wednesday, September 16th, from 4-6 at the home of Debbi Leuteritz, 20 Herrick Circle, Pelham, NH 03076. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
