Carol Ann Overlock

Carol Ann Overlock (Goodwin) 86 passed away peacefully February 25,2022 at the Merrimack County Nursing home, Boscawen, NH after a period of declining health. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Carol was born on August 8, 1935 to Wendell and Rita (Cayer) Goodwin in Norridgewock, Maine.

Carol married Carl Overlock in 1952 in Franklin, Maine. Then made the family home, and business in Berkely, MA.

Carol was a loving mother and homemaker. They moved to NH and became semi retired while Carol worked for the State of NH as a Secretary.

Carol learned to play piano by ear at a young age and continued to play beautifully for family and friends at the holiday gatherings which would bring a tear to many eyes.

Carol loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. The Overlock house was always open for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Carol loved everyone and made many lifelong friends throughout her life.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Wendall and Rita Goodwin, her husband Carl in 2010, and sister Wendy in 2017 in and nephew Sheldon.

Carol is survived by her two loving sons. Gordon B. and his wife Brenda, of Hooksett, and Carl and his wife Suzanne, of Tilton. Siblings Scott and Sandy Goodwin and Janice Young, many nieces, and nephews. 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Gratitude giving to many nurses and the administration at the Merrimack County Nursing Home for making Carol comfortable during her final years.

SERVICES: Memorial and burial will be 10:00am Monday, April 18th, 2022 at Boscawen NH Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend.
