Carol A. Simard

Carol A. (Allison) (Tyler) Simard, 57, of Gillis Street, Nashua, died Wednesday, October 25, 2000 at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Nashua on December 23, 1942, Mrs. Simard was the daughter of the late Gloria (Bonnette) and Simon R. Allison and was a lifelong resident of the Nashua area. Prior to her illness, Mrs. Simard was employed as a Pharmacits's assistant at the Medicine Shoppe in Nashua. Before that she had worked as a CS Technician in Central Supply at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua. For several years she was a supervisor at Chomerics in Hudson. She also worked for the Knights of Columbus for a period of time. Throughout her life, Mrs. Simard enjoyed making crafts and took great pleasure in giving them away. She also enjoyed bingo and decorating cakes. Survivors include; her husband whom she married on April 28, 1984, Richard H. Simard; one son, Paul Tyler of Palm Bay, Florida; two daughters, Paula Prieur and her husband, David of Merrimack and Lisa Tyler of Nashua; a daughter-in-law, Pamela (Oak) Tyler of Nashua; three sisters, Rosalie Wyman and her husband, Donald of Hudson, Shirleyann LeGro and her husband Robert of Antelope, CA and Peggy Kierstead and her husband Ross of Nashua; four brothers, Richard and his wife Claire (Casey) Allison of Hudson, Charles and his wife Judy (Hill) Allison of Bolovia, NC, David and his wife Diane (Deschamps) Allison of Derry and John ''Jocko'' and his wife Patricia (Dailey) Allison of Hudson; six grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, and Alicia Tyler of Nashua, Nicholas Signoretti of Nashua, Jake Prieur of Merrimack; and Alicia Egloff of Merrimack; one great granddaughter, Alexis Tyler of Nashua; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John Church, Library Street, Hudson on Saturday, November 4, 2000 at AM. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice Care, 22 Prospect Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
