Carol Ann Box Smith

Carol Ann Box Smith, of Warner, NH, left this world on January 22, 2022, after a courageous battle with an unrelenting illness.

She grew up in Freeport, NY and then moved to New Hampshire in 1970 with her husband and family. She was a long-time resident of Epping, Bradford & Gilford, NH, were she enjoyed life staying at home raising her kids, being artistic, working in family businesses and involving herself in the community.

Carol was predeceased by her father, Edward Rasp and mother Anna Rasp; her first love and husband of 40 years, Russell F. Box; her second husband, William Smith. She leaves behind her four children, Cindy Dumais of Canterbury, NH, Todd Box (Christine) of Springfield, NH, Christy Carafa (George) of Wilmot, NH and Timothy (Nicole) Box of Claremont, NH; her siblings, Peter Rasp Sr of Pennsylvania, Suzanne Bergh of NH & Jill Rasp Krinsky of Florida; and her seven grandchildren, Candice, Liz, Rob, Hannah, Morgan, Zachary and Anna. She will be missed by all who knew her and her light will shine within us forever.

Arrangements: There will be no services held at this time. A celebration of life and burial will take place this spring at Sunny Plains Cemetery in Bradford, NH.
