Carol Jean Trottier (Sausville) of Bedford, NH, passed away on April 4, 2026. She was born on June 2, 1937 in Hanover, NH. She was the daughter of Victor and Edith (LaBombard) Sausville. 

Her brother, Bradley J. Sausville, predeceased her in 2002. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard P. Trottier of Bedford, NH, to whom she was married for nearly 68 years, her son Richard J. Trottier of Worcester, MA, and her daughter Jaye Trottier of Bedford, NH. 

Known as Jean to her family and friends, she was a graduate of Hanover High School, Class of 1955. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to many destinations over the years and spent winters in Arizona for over 20 years, until as recently as 2022. She worked for Dr. Stephen Miller in Nashua, NH for 14 years and during her retirement, volunteered at Catholic Medical Center for 18 years. Throughout her life, she enjoyed gardening, spending time in nature and was particularly fond of birds. She always enjoyed the companionship of family, friends and animals.
