Carolee Jackson Lord 76, beloved mother of Charles and Patrick Lord, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Kingsley Jackson and Virginia Stewart Jackson.

Carolee was raised in Swampscott, MA and graduated from Swampscott High School in 1967. She raised her family in Amesbury, MA, and owned her own business, Carolee's Custom Curtains. Community was very important to Carolee. In 1981, she became one of the original members of the Amesbury Educational Foundation, Inc (AEFI).

In 1994, Carolee moved to Las Cruces, NM where she worked as a real estate agent. Upon her return to New England in 2007, she worked at JoAnn Fabrics until her retirement.

Carolee enjoyed quilting, sewing, country style folk painting, cross stitch and other hand crafts. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving her are her two sons, Charles and Patrick Lord, daughters-in-law Lynette Bernard Lord and Marie Germono Lord; siblings Judy Hapgood, Joanne Jackson, Stewart Jackson and Jeffrey Jackson, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and extended family, John Gill and Linda Lord.

Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Sylvan Street Grille in Salisbury, MA from 4PM-8PM. Her final resting place will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn, MA.
