Carolyn E. Andrews, 85, of Durham, NH and Cambridge, MA died suddenly in her sleep on March 20, 2002 at the Harvard Club in New York City. Mrs. Andrews was born on October 3, 1916 in Berkeley, CA and was raised in Kodiak, Alaska. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Nellie Erskine. She returned to California and graduated for the University of California at Berkeley in 1936 with a bachelors in Art History. From 1971 until 1981 she was the Associate Master of Leverette House at Harvard University where he husband, Kenneth Andrews, was the Master of Leverette House. She was the former widow of Chaffee Hall. Family members include; her husband of 32 years, Kenneth R. Andrews Sr.; one son, Douglas Hall of San Francisco, CA; two daughters, Marie Katrak of Boston, MA and Durham, NH and Lyn Hejinian of Oakland, CA; one stepson, Kenneth R. Andrews, Jr. of Marlboro, MA; one stepdaughter, Carolyn Andrews of Maynard, MA; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
