Carolyn L Eno

Carolyn Lewis Eno, beloved daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on May 29, 2024, at the age of 92.

Carolyn was born on May 2, 1932 in Keene, NH. She was a lifelong resident of Keene, graduated from Keene High School in 1950, and married her husband David D. Eno at the Court St. Congregational Church on June 26, 1954.

She was employed by the City of Keene as a payroll clerk prior to becoming a devoted, stay-at-home mom to her three daughters and in her later years a doting grandmother to her three granddaughters.

Carolyn had a passion for music and was a talented singer and musician. She played the guitar, piano and organ. She was particularly proud of performing with the Allan Kendall Band during the 1950’s.

She was also an expert at cross-stitch, sewing and she loved to read and do crossword puzzles.

Carolyn cherished spending time with her husband and they filled their years together with laughter, music, and wonderful memories. They were also known for their green thumbs and their beautiful vegetable and flower gardens. They enjoyed sharing their love of music and gardening with their children and grandchildren.

Carolyn’s family was her greatest joy. She is survived by her husband David D. Eno, her daughters Dianne E. Eno, Linda A. Walker and her spouse Arthur Walker, and Sharon L. Eno, and her granddaughters Jennifer L. Walker and her spouse James G. Wall, Emily A. Walker and Lindsay B. Walker.

She was predeceased by her parents Leon C. Lewis and Esther (Lockwood) Lewis.

Carolyn will be remembered for her kind, loving, generous nature, her sense of humor, wit and spunkiness. She faced a decade of declining health with courage, strength and grace. She will be deeply missed.

There are no calling hours or funeral service per Carolyn’s request. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
