Carolyn E. Hackett passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the age of 66.
She was born on December 7, 1953 in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts and moved with her family to Hollis, New Hampshire in 1962. Carolyn graduated from Hollis High School and Slippery Rock State College in Pennsylvania. She worked in childcare as a Nurses Aid and then moved to the Medical Records Department of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center where she worked as a Medical Records Clerk. After she retired in January of 2018, she did a little traveling, volunteered at the Hollis Historical Society, enjoyed swimming at Rocky Pond, and read book after book.
Carolyn leaves behind her mother, Dorothy Hackett of Hollis; one sister, Cynthia Hackett of Lee and one brother, Charles Hackett and his wife, Laura of State College, PA; one niece, Meg Hackett; two nephews, Andy Hackett and his wife, Dawn and Jeffrey Hackett and his wife, Ashley and their three children, Griffin, Maddie and Fitz.
