Catherine M. Brisson

Catherine Marie Brisson, maiden name Stoupakis, 78 of Hooksett NH, formally of Wayland Massachusetts, passed away on February 28, 2024, at the Salem Haven Nursing Home after a long illness.

Catherine was born in Watertown Mass on March 26, 1945 .  Her Father was George Stoupakis and Mother was Jennie Stoupakis.  Catherine was raised in Watertown Mass and moved to Wayland Mass when she married the love of her life, Andre R Brisson who passed away in 2004.

Catherine always wanted to be an Artist and enjoyed painting and sewing. Catherine, AKA Cathy, loved socializing and was always the life of the party.  She brought much joy and laughter to her friends and family with her wonderful sense of humor.  

Catherine raised her children with her husband and went back to work in 1978 in Marketing and worked in the Cable industry.   Cathy retired from Comcast Cable Company in 2009.

After her retirement, Catherine enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog Gina, and her children and grandchildren Zachary and Benny.

Catherine is survived by her children Tami L. Bloomstein and her husband Stuart of Framingham Mass and her son Andre L Brisson and his partner Christa Vanore of Goffstown NH. 

Catherine is also survived by her grandchildren Zachary Bloomstein and his partner Leah Liebler of Portland Oregon and Benjamin Bloomstein of Framingham Mass.

Catherine also leaves behind her sister in law Lise Brisson and her partner Maria Prezio of Hooksett NH as well as her sister Joanne Ireson of Kingsport Tennessee and her brother George Stoupakis and his wife Anne of Novia Scotia.  Catherine also leaves behind a  niece and nephews.

 A celebration of life in Cathy's honor  will be held by her family at a later date.
