Catherine L. “Cathy” Felch, affectionately known as “Aunt Kay,” sadly passed away at Elliot Hospital on September 14, 2026, at the age of 89.

Cathy was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on May 20, 1937, to Arthur and Roba (Ford) Cronin. She was educated through the Manchester School System and graduated from Manchester Central High School with the Class of 1955. She was grateful for the opportunity to serve on numerous class reunion committees throughout the years. Cathy was a longtime parishioner of St. Hedwig Parish.

Cathy worked for Hartford Insurance Company for 30 years, retiring as an Executive Secretary. Following her retirement, she continued to give back to her community, volunteering for a year before becoming an employee at the Hooksett Public Library, where she spent the next 16 years. She especially enjoyed connecting with the young people she met there and watching them grow into young adults.

Cathy loved to travel and traveled extensively throughout the United States with her beloved husband, Andy, until his passing in 2020. She cherished entertaining and took great pleasure in hosting family gatherings, dinner parties, and barbecues for friends. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, board games, and gardening. Cathy was also proud to serve as Chaplain of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 37 in Hooksett. Her life was enriched by the love of her nieces and nephews and the many friendships she made throughout her life.

Cathy was predeceased by her husband, Andy, in 2020; her infant daughter, Christine Mary; and her sisters, Elizabeth Martel of Toledo, Ohio, Marilyn Rumfelt of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Patricia Kukulka of Vacaville, California.

She is survived by her sister, Sandra Crabb of Oxford, Florida; her brother, James Cronin of Bedford, New Hampshire; and her many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on October 2, 2026, at 10 am at St. Hedwig Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery in the Felch family plot, where Cathy will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Andy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cathy’s memory to the Hooksett Food Pantry, 35 Main Street, Hooksett, NH 03106.
