Cecile M. Larochelle, 66, of Nashua died Thursday morning, Feb 1st, 2007, at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center following a year long struggle with cancer.

Mrs. Larochelle was born on August 15th, 1940 in North Hatley, Quebec, Canada, and was the daughter of Evan and Patricia (Dube) Smith. She spent most of her young life in Coaticook, Canada and was married to her husband Adrien in Rock Forest Canada in 1959. Together they moved to Nashua in 1962 and have resided there ever since.

She worked as a homemaker at Home Health & Hospice in Nashua for five years and found great joy in helping others. Cecile had a love of God, love of family and a love of life. She also worked at Nashua Corporation in Merrimack for ten years.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Cecile enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family. She loved traveling even through her illness and found strength through God.

Cecile is survived by her husband of 48 years Adrien Larochelle of Nashua; a daughter Lisa Guidi and her husband Brian of Nashua; a son Yves Larochelle and his wife Diane of Burlington Maine; 2 Grandchildren; Mandy Larochelle of Concord, NH and Nathaniel Guidi of Nashua, NH; 2 sisters; Marianne Lafrance of Danville Quebec and Jeanine Boulet of St. Bruno Quebec; several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

SERVICES: Entombment will take place on Monday February 5th at 2 PM in the mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery on Kinsley St. in Nashua, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Cecile's memory to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110.
