Charles “Chuck” Arcangelo Jr. passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 53 after a long battle with end-stage kidney failure and heart failure. Chuck was born on April 11, 1969, in New Haven, CT, to Charles “Charlie” Arcangelo Sr. and Burnell Arcangelo. He was the beloved husband of Kristin “Jade” Arcangelo, whom he married on February 14, 2014, after meeting her in the Philippines in 2012.
In 1987, Chuck and his family moved from CT to NH, where they faced a tragic accident that changed their lives forever. Chuck's sister, April, became quadriplegic after a car accident, and Chuck decided to forgo his plans of becoming a paramedic and stayed home to care for her. His mother Burnell quit her job as an LNA at DHMC to help with April's needs for 12 years. Chuck's father, Charlie, worked at P&H Truckstop as a cook/prep cook, and Chuck worked there too for 26 years until it was medically necessary for him to stop in 2015.
Chuck had a passion for reading books and magazines about health, survivalism, apocalyptic scenarios, and zombies. He was also an avid target shooter, and he collected silver coins and tactical knives.
Chuck was predeceased by his father Charlie, who passed away in 1999 at the age of 52, his sister April, who passed away in 2001 at the age of 32, and his mother Burnell, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 67.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his wife Jade and his extended family and friends. Chuck will be remembered as a devoted husband, caring son and brother, and a loyal friend. His love for his family and his willingness to put their needs above his own will always be remembered. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
A church service will be held for Chuck, Charlie, Burnell, and April Arcangelo on Saturday May 13, 2023 at 11AM officiated by Fr. Arockia Antony at St. Joseph Church at 21 Pine St Woodsville, NH 03785, followed by the burial at Horse Meadow Cemetery in the town of Haverhill. A lunch gathering to celebrate Chuck's life will be held immediately after the burial. Family and friends who know the late Arcangelo family are invited to attend.
