Charles A. Clevesy Jr., 84, died on October 5, 2018 following a two-year battle with cancer. He was born in Haverhill, MA on March 16, 1934 to Charles and Louise (Porter) Clevesy, Sr. He lived in Derry, NH for 30 years before living one year at Villa Crest Nursing Center in Manchester.
Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force 1951-1954 and the United States Coast Guard 1956-1966. He worked as a machinist with Borden Chemicals. He enjoyed reading a wide range of topics, especially history, guns and mechanics, taking long walks with dogs, and entertaining people with well-told jokes and stories.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was predeceased by his son, Mark A. Clevesy in 1982, and the mother of his two children, Joan A. Quass in 2015. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca L. Clevesy Gay. Charlie was interred with military honors in the Clevesy family plot in Linwood Cemetery in Haverhill, MA alongside his son, father and grandmother.
