Charles Martin Copeland

Charles M. Copeland, 85, of Bow Lake, Strafford , formerly of Deerfield, passed away on June 22, 2004. Mr. Copeland was born July 20, 1919 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the son of the late Walter and Marguerite (Horrigan) Copeland. He retired from the U.S. Navy and was a World War II veteran. Mr. Copeland was with the P.K. Lindsay Company from 1949 to1984. Mr. Copeland was a Realtor for many years. He was previously the Deerfield Town Treasurer and retired from the Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Copeland was predeceased by his first wife Phyllis Baker Copeland. He leaves his wife, Nancy Hopkins Copeland; one son, David Copeland and his wife Beverly of Northwood; one daughter, Linda of Hiram, Ohio; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services to be held at a later date at the Morrison Cemetery in Deerfield.
