Charles M. Jordan

Charles M. Jordan, 65, of Merrimack, NH died on March 4, 2000 at his home after a short illness. Mr. Jordan was born on October 20, 1034 in New Hartford, NY the son of the late Thomas and Sarah (Schorge) Jordan. He was a U S Navy Veteran who served in the Korean War. Mr. Jordan worked as an engineer for General Electric for over 30 years in Utica, NY. After retirement he worked part time as a toll collector for the State of New Hampshire for five years. In New Hartford, NY he was a member of the Elks and Lions Club and was a coach and past president of Little League Baseball. Family members include; four sons, Robert Jordan of Virginia, Kenneth Jordan of Colorado, Michael Jordan of North Carolina and Alan Jordan of Florida; five grandsons, 1 granddaughter; and a long time companion, Corinne O'Neil. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 11, 2000 at 10:00 AM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire Chapel (an affiliate of Phaneuf Funeral Home), 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110.
