Charles Theo Lessard

Charles Theo Lessard of Manchester, NH and formerly of Lynn and Revere, MA, passed away on November 17, 2019 at Maple Leaf Health Care in Manchester, NH. Born in Boston, MA on June 24, 1928, he was the son of the late Charles B. Lessard and Elizabeth (Andrews) Lessard.

Charles was a resident of Lynn, MA for 60 years before moving to Manchester, NH in 2015. He was a retired member of the Lynn Yacht Club, where he made many fond memories. He was passionate about fishing and loved saltwater bass fishing on Revere Beach. Charles was a painter and worked for various companies on the North Shore. In his spare time, he also enjoyed wood working.

Charles leaves behind his wife of nearly 53 years, Carol (Annis) Lessard; his daughter, Denise Perham and her husband Michael; his grandchildren, Alexander and Kayleigh Lessard and Lilyana Perham; and his half-brother, Charles Lessard and his wife Karen. In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his son, Richard Lessard; his sister Bernice Gilespie and her husband Ken; and his sister Betty Winn and her husband Edward.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 22nd from 6-8pm at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
