Charles McKenna, 90, of Nashua died June 23, 2004 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a long battle with cancer. Mr. McKenna was born on January 12, 1914 in Boston, MA the son of the late William and Mary (McMenamy) McKenna. Prior to retiring in 1979 he had worked as a truck driver for Jones Motors for many years. He was a devoted father and had a great sense of humor. He loved spending time with his children and was a big fan of family baseball games. Mr. McKenna was fond of animals and had adopted many abandoned cats and dogs. Family members include; his wife of 52 years, Annette (Oliverio) McKenna; two sons, Charles McKenna Jr. of Nashua and Michael McKenna of Hollis; two grandsons, Matthew and Adam McKenna of Nashua; and one brothers, Arthur McKenna of California. There will be no services however the family asks that you remember Charles in your prayers. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
