Charlotte M. Bent

Charlotte Marjorie (Mason) Bent, 77, died surrounded by her family at Hanover Terrace Healthcare, Hanover, NH on Sunday, October 31, 2004. Born February 7, 1927 in Somerville, MA, the daughter of Morton and Ada B. (Dickie) Mason, She grew up in Hingham MA graduating from Hingham High School. She then went on to attain a degree in nursing from the Deaconess School of Nursing in Boston, MA and worked as a Registered Nurse in private practice and hospitals in Massachusetts, Vermont and Oregon for almost 40 years. In 1998 she moved to New Hampshire to be closer to her children. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Charles Korhonen of Etna, NH, a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Jeanne Bent of Warwick, RI, and six grandchildren. There are no calling hours. Burial and a family service will be held at a later date. Donations in Charlotte’s memory may be made to The Sunshine Club, Hanover Terrace Healthcare in c/o Maggie Saco, 53 Lyme Rd., Hanover, NH 03755. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is handling arrangements.
