Cherilyn L. Atherton died on November 1, 2025 at the age of 90. Chere was born to Henry and Verna Swearingen, October 15, 1935, in Bradford, Illinois.
Chere was predeceased by her parents, three sisters, and one brother. Chere leaves one son, Gregory D. Coates, one daughter Cathy L. Fosterling, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Chere married the love of her life, Stephen H. Atherton in 1976. Chere and Steve moved from San Diego, CA to Penacook, NH in 2001.
