Cheryl Ann Braudis

Cheryl Ann (Hoisington) Braudis, 67, of Canaan, NH, passed away on July 30, 2025, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH. She was born on March 22, 1958, in Hanover, NH, the daughter of Freeman and Maxine Hoisington.

Cheryl was the beloved wife of Christopher Braudis, Sr. The two were married on May 5, 2005, at Cathedral Ledge in North Conway, New Hampshire.

A graduate of Thetford Academy in Thetford, VT, class of 1976, Cheryl dedicated much of her life to helping others through her work. She served as an Administrative Assistant at the Clara Martin Center for 20 years and later at both Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Hitchcock for another 20 years.

Cheryl had the kindest heart and always put others before herself. She lived life to the fullest and made friends wherever she went. She loved to travel and visited many countries alongside her husband Chris, even spending five months living in China. Whether it was taking motorcycle trips, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, or spending long weekends aboard her boat on Lake Winnipesaukee, Cheryl embraced every adventure. She earned both her motorcycle license and open water scuba diving certification, a testament to her fearless spirit. More than anything, she cherished time with her grandchildren, Keegan and Kailee.

She was predeceased by her son, Codi Tabor.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Christopher Braudis Sr.; her son Troy Tabor and his wife Jen, and their children Keegan and Kailee; her stepson Christopher Braudis Jr., his wife Jessica, and their children Colin and Aubrey; her stepdaughter Stephanie Braudis; her siblings Cindy Fraser, Charlene Bourgeois, Steve Hoisington, and Tim Hoisington.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
