Chester T. Francis Chester: Chester T. Francis, 82, died Dec. 14, 2006, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, after a long illness. He was born May 17, 1924 in Boston to Edward and Olive (Ramsdell) Francis. He graduated from Saugus High School and was further educated at Franklin Institute and Syracuse University. Throughout his life he worked in electronics and retired after a long career with the Federal Aviation Administration. During WWII he served in England with the US Army Air Force. He was an avid ham radio operator and had many radio buddies around the world. He spent many years as a Scoutmaster, and was a member of the Corinthian Lodge of the Masons. He was predeceased by his wife, Dolores, in 2005. The family includes his three sons, Thomas of Shelbyville, KY, Richard of Chester, David of Oregon, and two daughters, Elaine Emerson of Chichester, and Barbara Crawford of Concord, along with eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Services: There are no calling hours. A memorial gathering of family members will take place at a later date. The Cremation Society of NH is in charge of local arrangements.
