Choonhwa Kim Ostreicher

CHOONHWA KIM OSTREICHER Choonhwa Kim Ostreicher, beloved wife of Kim John Ostreicher and mother of Jongho and Jongwon Ostreicher, died September 7, 2008 . Mrs. Ostreicher was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea where her entire family resides. She had immigrated with her sons to the United States in 1997 after marriage to Mr. Ostreicher. In addition to being a selfless wife she was always a devoted and loving mother for her two sons, both of Londonderry, NH. Her family and friends remember her as a Christian who knew the meaning of life and extended her heart and help to those in need. Choonhwa treasured the outdoors, often going hiking and camping with her family (especially in the White Mountains of New Hampshire). She enjoyed playing tennis and was an amazing cook who cherished sharing food and conversation with friends. Her jovial smile and laugh warmed our hearts. She is eternally remembered and truly missed by her family in Korea, including her mother Soonye Kim, brothers Younghee, Youngahn, Youngmoon, sister Choonhee, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In the United States, her step daughter Arica B. Ostreicher of South Bend, IN, step son Justen K. Ostreicher of Gainesville FL, Grandson Chance B. Meller also of South Bend, IN, Brother-Sister In Laws and relatives. She also is greatly missed by friends, including members of the Korean Londonderry Methodist Church and fellow workers at Insight Technology where she was employed for nearly seven years. A private memorial service will be held at a future date. Donations in memorial are gratefully appreciated to the American Cancer Society; P.O. Box 22718; Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
