Christine Dupere, 79, of Candia, NH, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026.

Christine was born on November 12, 1946, in Winchester, Massachusetts, to Edward and Odette Weber. She studied fine arts at Plymouth State University, graduating in 1968. She then began her career as an art teacher in Nashua following graduation. A talented and creative spirit, Chris expressed her artistry in many forms—from tranquil ocean watercolors to handmade clothing, elegant calligraphy, and her cherished homemade apple pie.

In 1973, she married her husband, George, and together they raised two children, Andre and Michelle. After 17 years of teaching, Chris chose to retire from the classroom to devote more time to her family. She took a local job as Town Clerk of Candia and would serve in that role for over 30 years. Her dedication, kindness, and unwavering support for the community left a lasting impact on countless residents.

Chris will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and deep commitment to both her family and her community.

She is survived by her children, Andre Dupere and Michelle Nagata and her husband, Yoshi; her grandchildren, Patric Dupere, Nordica Dupere, and Augustus Nagata; her daughter-in-law, Eileen Dupere; her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Spenard and her husband, Currie Morris; and her children, Michael Spenard and Jennifer Fredette.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate care Chris received at Elliot Hospital.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 9am at Holbrook Cemetery in Candia, NH (across the street from Crossroads Bible Church).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sierra Club.

Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Manchester.
