Christine R Edwards
CONCORD – Christine Edwards, 65, of Concord died Sunday, July 13th, 2014, at her home after a long illness.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Bob and Ruth (Christensen) Jeffers. Christine grew up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, graduating from Ridge High School in Bemards Township, NJ. She also graduated from Somerset County College with a degree in nursing. Her inner strength and a deep love and compassion for people led to a long and successful career in nursing in New Jersey, Florida, Virginia and Texas.
Christine attended New Life Fellowship in Concord. She volunteered for numerous organizations including the Red Cross, Concord Hospital, Merrimack County Nursing Home and Grace Capital Church in New Hampshire. She loved horses and owned and rode them throughout most of her life.
Christine was pre-deceased by her husband of 30 years, Anil "Wazy" Edwards. She is survived by her three children, whom she loved and cherished, daughter Tanya of Spring, TX, daughter Anjali and husband Josh Francingues also of Spring, TX and son Viraj, wife Cynthia and her grandchildren, Jazilyn and Rajiv all of Katy, TX; brother Bob Jeffers and wife Margaret of Concord, sister Marian Debbert and husband Eckhardt of Great Meadows, NJ and brother Neil Jeffers of Mendham, NJ. She was also loved by numerous nieces and nephews in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a 4:00PM on Saturday, August 23 at the Cremation Society of NH (Phaneuf Funeral Home), 172 King St., Boscawen, NH 03303. Check back at this site (http://www.tributes.com/Christine-Edwards) for further information.
