Christine Elizabeth McDonough, born on September 6, 1985, in Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on July 29, 2026, from complications of lupus. She was the beloved daughter of Esther (Sweeney) McDonough and the late Patrick McDonough.

Christine’s childhood began in Boston, with her life's journey taking her to Dorchester, Milford, Hudson, and eventually Goffstown, where she would live most of her life. In recent years, she made her home in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she lived until her untimely passing.

After attending Goffstown High School until the 11th grade, Christine entered the workforce, spending years in a variety of food service positions. Later, she chose to dedicate herself to being a full-time stay-at-home mom.

Christine was an avid cook and enjoyed exploring new foods. Time spent with Nathan, her partner of 20 years, and their children, was most precious to her. Christine was known for her fanatical passion for sports, especially as a devoted fan of the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. When the weather was right, she loved spending time at the beach. In her downtime, Christine would enjoy watching reality tv or doing puzzles. She was also very much into fashion, and had amassed a large collection of handbags, sunglasses, and shoes.

Those who knew Christine remember her as funny, kind, energetic, and beautiful. She was very charismatic and outgoing, and her quirky charm lit up every room she entered. Full of laughter and joy, she brought genuine happiness to those who surrounded her.

Christine leaves behind her fiancé Nathan Munson; her daughter, Mikayla Munson; her son, Jaeden Munson; her mother, Esther (Sweeney) McDonough; her sisters, Jessica McDonough and Jennifer (McDonough) Wescott and her 3 children, Alexis, Justin, and Angelina; her sister-in-law, Talia (Munson) Madensky, her husband Daniel, and their children Jacob and Alyssa; and her best friend, Andrea Neville.

She was predeceased by her father, Patrick McDonough.

Christine’s legacy lives on in her children, and the family she cherished. She leaves behind countless memories, each defined by her warmth, enthusiasm, and the joy she so effortlessly shared. For all who knew her, the brightness of her presence will be remembered always.
