Christine Moore Hanagan, 76, of Manchester, New Hampshire recently passed away following a period of declining health. Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late William “Bill” Moore and Theresa Yvonne (Bibeault) Moore of Manchester. She was a resident of Manchester for most of her life.
Christine graduated from Immaculata High School in 1966. and from Chandler School for Women in Boston in 1968 with an Associate Degree. Much of her career was spent working for the City of Manchester and she retired as the Assistant to the Board of Assessors and went on to complete various classes at The Nackey S. Loeb School of Communication, becoming a successful free-lance writer. In November of 2014 Christine received the Nackey S. Loeb Fellowship Award at the Annual First Amendment Event. Christine was a dedicated mother who devoted her time to her children, supporting them in their pursuit of personal interests, education, and careers.
Christine is survived by her son, Shawn Hanagan and his wife, Katie Lynn Hanagan and their two children, Kelton and Emilia Hanagan of Litchfield, a daughter, Bridget Hanagan Wright and son-in-law, John Wright, both of San Diego, California; a sister, Carol Johnson of Manchester, two brothers, Michael James Moore of Manchester and David Joseph Moore of Manchester
Services: The family is holding a private celebration of her life and there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manchester Animal Shelter.
