Claire T. Kimball

Claire T. Kimball, 95, of Nashua, passed away on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023. Born on August 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Irene Joubert (Morel). Claire was the beloved wife of the late Charles Kimball. 

After her retirement, Claire was a longtime volunteer for St. Petersburg General Hospital. Her selfless dedication to helping others demonstrated her commitment to making the world a better place. She also served as the president of her condo association, skillfully ran the community center, and was a source of inspiration to her neighbors and friends.

 She adored the simple pleasures, like the sound of waves at the beach and the joy of dancing. Her love for swimming, reading, and music brought her immeasurable happiness, and she found solace by the sea.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Irene Joubert (Morel), her sons, Michael and Ronald Marchand, her husband, Charlie Kimball, her first husband, Roland Marchand and her cherished aunts, Sister Florence and Sister Claire Lebreux, as well as her great aunt, Sister Grace Morel.

Claire is survived by her loving son, Jeffrey Marchand, and his wife, Melissa, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her only grandchild, Michael Marchand. Her extended family included cousins, Irene and Bill Bergeron, Grace Villiard, daughter-in-law Louise Marchand, and nephew Ken Joubert and his wife, Tiny Joubert. Claire was also a cherished part of the lives of many second and third cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, from 5PM-6PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, New Hampshire. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6PM. On Thursday, October 26th a graveside prayer will be read at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, New Hampshire, all are welcome to attend.
