Clara B. Temple, 77, of Nashua, NH, died peacefully and with dignity Sunday, July 13, surrounded by her loving children at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH. Mrs. Temple was born in Meriden, CT February 19, 1926. The daughter of Santina and Valente Benigni, she was the youngest in a family of seven children. She lived for most of her life in Meriden, where she graduated from St. Rose of Lima School and Meriden High School. Most recently she had relocated to Nashua, NH, where she spent the latter years of her life. Dedicating her life to her children and grandchildren, she brought her family great joy and happiness. Her capacity for love, sense of morality and values and perspective on life are gifts she imparted on her children and grandchildren. She leaves her three children, Sandra Blodgett and her husband Jeffrey of Meriden, CT; Howard Temple and his wife Barbara of Old Saybrook, CT and Lynne Miller of Nashua. Mrs. Temple leaves six grandchildren to whom she gave unconditional love, support and understanding and who, in turn, gave her great joy. They are Elizabeth Blodgett and her husband James Fritzell of Rochester, NY; Sarah Blodgett of Brookline, MA; Christopher Blodgett of Jamaica Plains, MA; Daniel Temple of Indian Harbor, FL; and Jason and Ethan Miller, both of Nashua, NH. She is also survived by two of her loving siblings, August Benigni of Wallingford, CT and Anna Hubball and her husband Charles of Old Lyme, CT; several nieces and nephews as well as several grand nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Predeceased by her loving parents, brother Primo Benigni and sisters Rena Beeman and Florence Benigni, she has now been reunited with them in everlasting life. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial Mass to be celebrated this Saturday at 11 o'clock at Holy Angels Church, South Meriden, CT where she had been a communicant during much of her life. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In her memory, the family has established a fund to supplement the prescription drug needs of the elderly. Always a concern to her was the ability of senior citizens to pay for their prescription drug needs. If desired, contributions may be made to this newly created fund (The Clara B. Temple Memorial Fund) through the Bank of New Hampshire, 191 Main St, Nashua, NH 03060. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
